Ground your faith, not in belief but in experience. Symbols and ideas are important guides, but they need to be constantly let go of so that they don't impede understanding. Look deeply into life, and that which is beyond all concepts will reveal itself.

The nature of faith

Faith is our natural state. Long before we can articulate it, we know that life breathes and sings beneath the material surface of things. Only after we fall off center in God do we equate the world with its surface. And it is only then that we need belief in verbal statements to catch a glimpse of the Spirit.
